Terms of Use
Last updated: June 19, 2026
These terms set expectations for using Aiden with your own providers, keys, prompts, files, and local app data.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Aiden, including the website, macOS app, documentation, and related materials. By using Aiden, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Aiden.
What Aiden does
Aiden is a macOS client for working with AI models and providers you configure. It may support hosted model providers, local model services, router accounts, and app features that help you draft, ask, compare, or run tasks.
Aiden does not operate the third-party AI models you connect. Provider availability, pricing, rate limits, safety systems, output quality, and data handling are controlled by those providers.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your prompts, files, chats, provider accounts, API keys, model selections, outputs, and how you use or share generated content.
You agree not to use Aiden to violate laws, infringe rights, bypass provider rules, harm systems, transmit malware, or process information you do not have the right to use.
Third-party providers and costs
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms, privacy policies, usage rules, and billing requirements of any third-party provider you connect to Aiden.
Aiden is not responsible for provider charges, account suspensions, service outages, model changes, data retention, or other actions by third-party services.
No professional advice
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. Aiden and connected models do not provide legal, medical, financial, security, or other professional advice.
Verify important outputs before relying on them, especially for high-stakes decisions or production work.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Aiden is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aiden and its maintainers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, provider charges, business interruption, or reliance on AI output.
Changes and termination
Aiden may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. These terms may be updated as the app evolves, and the updated date on this page will reflect the latest version.
You may stop using Aiden at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive, including disclaimers, responsibility for provider use, and limitation of liability, will survive termination.
